Sidigi 0.3 (6/2004)

Sidigi was intended as a simple to use tool for creating/editing digital sample tracks in Commodore 64 SID music. If you don't know what I'm talking about this isn't for you :oP

The program is not finished and I will not touch it until I'm in the mood for doing some more SIDs with digi-samples. The program has been sitting on my hard drive for some time now and I can't remember for sure what features are finished/working, but here's what I think the state of the program is right now:

• WAV file import and export (8-bit mono)
• Loads Digi-Organizer songs
• One track, multi pattern "tracker" style digi-channel editor
• Audio playback of digi-channel (doesn't play SID, though)
• Outputs a valid SID ready for playing
• Uses Digi-Organizer playroutine and data
• Functionality that will attempt to relocate a SID but doesn't probably really work

I have used this program in conjunction with GoatTracker, but it should work for other SIDs as well. I would go into more technical details about the program if I could remember anything :oP

• Soppa (set emulation to PlaySID environment with sidplay2)

Oh wait! After typing all this in, I found out that I did have a manual written for this thing after all!
